This website is operated from Germany, so German law applies regardless of where the servers delivering it are located — in particular the Digital Services Act implementation law (DDG), the Interstate Media Treaty (MStV), the German Copyright Act (UrhG) and, alongside the GDPR, the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This page is provided in English for readability; the German wording of these statutes is authoritative.
No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no user accounts, no contact form. Fonts and PDF previews are served from this site's own server, so nothing is loaded from third-party servers.
This site is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich; parent company Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare automatically processes standard access data — IP address, date and time, the file requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system — in order to deliver the site securely and quickly. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This data is not merged with other sources or used to profile you. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place; transfers to the USA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you write or call, I use your details only to answer your message (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is settled, unless retention is required by law.
The site is served over HTTPS. For confidential messages a public GPG key is offered for download; its use is entirely optional.
Under the GDPR you may request access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just write to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for this site the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
